The red berry, violet and plum scents are trimmed in enough wood to notice and are riper still. There is excellent richness to the relatively full-bodied and quite suave flavors that coat the palate with dry extract where the finish is ripe enough to suggest notes of chocolate and fig while managing to retain a good sense of vibrancy. This is a bit riper than I personally prefer but it certainly is opulent and seductive if not especially complex. By Allen Meadows - Burghound.com |
