| Tasting note |
1967 Château Margaux is a very attractive vintage and a good example both of the genius of the terroir and of an era when the aim was to make wines with balance and finesse. Today, this wine shows a particularly fine, distinguished and very mature nose, possessing a lot of breed. So enjoyable! On the palate, the smoothness of the texture comes through; the tannins are ignored as we focus on the pleasure and enjoyment. Of course, the overall impression is one of a rather light wine, with perhaps some dryness in the finish, but the whole is a really pleasing wine... A very good bottle to drink now.
