| Tasting note |
Well this is a first! we have never much liked this wine in the past, it has to be said, but this year it is a revelation. Round and fleshy nose with peach, mango and floral notes. Matthieu Bordes says they consciously tried to cut the Sauvignon/catty aromas. Fresh and full too. All barrel-fermented. A really lovely mouthful, and a wine which seems to be all one thing, all juicily expressive. If you are looking for that rare bird, a good value white Bordeaux with real class, this could be it.
